LAVA
At LAVA, sustainability is woven into every collection we create. By using recycled and biodegradable fabrics, we aim to reduce waste while creating swimwear designed to be worn, loved, and lived in.
We believe style and sustainability should exist effortlessly together, creating pieces that feel as good as they look. From thoughtful materials to responsible production practices, our commitment to conscious design influences everything we do.
THE FOUNDER
I grew up in Santa Cruz, basically always near the ocean, and that connection has just stuck with me in everything I do. It’s really what inspired LAVA.
I wanted to create a swimwear brand that feels fun, colorful, and a little free-spirited, but still thoughtful in how it’s made.
From the beginning, I’ve tried to be really intentional about using more conscious materials and working with suppliers who care about doing things the right way.
LAVA is my way of bringing all of that together. Swimwear that feels good to wear, but also feels good to stand behind.

FABRICS AND DYES
Sustainability is at the heart of every collection we create. We thoughtfully source fabrics that align with our values, including Amni Soul Eco and Repreve, materials chosen for their lower environmental impact, exceptional quality, and long-lasting feel.
Our printed fabrics use OEKO-TEX® and GOTS-certified dyes, supporting more responsible and environmentally conscious dyeing practices.
