THE FOUNDER
Growing up in Santa Cruz, I developed a deep connection with the ocean and the natural world around me. This connection has driven me to create a sustainable brand that not only celebrates the beauty of nature but also works towards protecting it. Each design is inspired by the vibrant colors and patterns found in the natural world, and I am committed to using eco-friendly materials and practices throughout the LAVA brand. My aspiration is to show that fashion and sustainability can go hand in hand, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my vision with the world. XOXO

SUPPLIERS WE WORK WITH
Ensuring fair working conditions and wages is a fundamental aspect of our ethical sourcing practices. We firmly believe in creating a positive impact throughout our supply chain, which is why we exclusively collaborate with suppliers who share our commitment to social responsibility.
Before partnering with any supplier, we conduct assessments to verify their adherence to fair labor practices. This includes evaluating factors such as working hours, workplace safety measures, fair wages, and employee well-being. By maintaining this selection process, we can confidently affirm that our suppliers prioritize the fair treatment and empowerment of their employees.

FABRICS AND DYES
We have a strong and unwavering commitment to incorporating sustainable fabrics into every single piece we create. In line with this commitment, we exclusively utilize two fabric choices: Amni Soul and Repreve. These fabrics not only meet our high sustainability standards but also offer outstanding quality.
The dyes used in our prints are OEKO-TEX & GOTS certified. These certifications validate the eco-friendly nature of our supplier’s dyeing process, ensuring that our prints meet stringent standards for sustainability and consumer safety.
